Wayang Kulit (Kali Dadap, group of traditional artists)
By nature, tradition moves and grows. It lives because it is born of the consciousness of a community. Tradition is manifested in values that support development of individuals who can absorb them.
These values are broad and are embodied in all aspects of life. Exalted values that erupt out of the contemplation of the heart of the community are eternal and represent the ever-flowing spring passed from generation to generation.

Srimpen Dance (Jeannie Park and friends)
In connection with this, Babaran Segaragunung Culture House now presents works of traditional art side-by-side with more contemporary pieces. The intent is not to displace a traditional perspective of art, but rather to emphasize the connections with cultural roots and the consciousness that these works represent integral cultural development.
Thus, in all humility, we sponsor this presentation because we are constantly aware that we do not stand alone in the midst of creation. There is the reality of our environment, our culture, nature, as well as the inherited values from our ancestors, all of which provide us with foundations and fill our lives. Tarup is a symbol of self-reflection, preparing everything that is necessary, opening our hearts; expressing gratitude to all of existence that encompasses our lives.
