Agus Ismoyo
Agus Ismoyo, a descendant from a lineage of batik artisans from Java's court city of Solo, began his odyssey in 1985 when he co-founded Brahma Tirta Sari alongside Nia Fliam. Together, they initiated an artistic journey that traverses geographical and cultural divides, weaving narratives through textiles that bridge ancient craftsmanship with contemporary expression. Beyond the studio, Ismoyo's commitment to preserving intangible culture extends to his role as a co-founder of Babaran Segaragunung Culture House, where he nurtures an environment for artistic exploration rooted in tradition's enduring spirit.
